We are happy to announce that PE Recent - recent posts WordPress plugin and PE Panels - tabs and accordion WordPress plugin just have been updated and brings several important fixes and improvements.

What changed?

PE Recent Posts changelog - 1.2 version

• Fixed REST API and Loopback errors - the error appeared when displaying posts ordering was set on "Most read".
• Improved keyboard navigation according to WCAG guidelines

PE Panels changelog - 1.07 version

• Fixed not possible highlighting and selecting text in the tab panel
• Fixed keeping active the chosen tab while selecting text in the tab panel (for mobile views)
• Improved keyboard navigation according to WCAG guidelines

Both plugins include the important improvement for keyboard navigation recommended by https://www.w3.org/

We took into account the following scenarios.

• For PE Panels once the "Tabbed" view is ON we introduced the option for Tabs with Automatic Activation (excepting Delete key). PE Panels Tabs orientation can be also changed into a horizontal layout so we used the principles from the general practices for Tabs
• For PE Panels once "Collapsed" view is ON we introduced principles for Accordion adjustments
• For PE Recent Posts for "bullets" and prev/next navigation set separately we used Basic and Tabbed options mentioned in Carousel recommended practices.
